ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Jake Finamore. I am a practicing archivist, hobbyist and somewhat-historian who loves to write.
I began writing and telling stories as a young child, but only started publicizing my work in 2023. I was in my final year of middle school, and had developed an acute fascination towards the lost history of Long Island – where I reside. In the past few years, this interest has developed into an obsession. Throughout the early end of 2025, I began writing and publishing articles focused on a variety of topics. Sooner than later, my work was being recognized and appreciated across many fronts. I’ve been since profiled in Newsday, the Long Island Press, the Locust Valley Leader, and the Long Island Herald. Thanks to this spotlight, I’ve been able to create “Saturn Mondays”, an outlet for creative expression and untold stories.
